Work shock!!

Sexual Harassment, known for the whole world, is indeed an unfair threat for women in particular.

As the difference of biophysical characteristics between female and male, women are mostly the victims. With limited and/or invisible evidence, sufferers can only live in the dark for the fear of being badly treated again. Can we brightly report it to the public for the happening event? Can we globally voice out to stop all of these disgusting behaviours? Who concerns this issue as it is benefit for half of the population?

Interviewed from a college student, she recalled:
When the professor is very happy being with me for my study, he whistled. I firstly felt weird; suddenly I perceived it as sexual harassment as I am not flattered to take it as compliment of being beautiful or charming. If then, he should be blushed instead.

Harassment involves the imbalanced rights. Sometimes it has nothing to do with the gender issues. However, in the nowadays society, male occupy the higher positions at most times. So, we hardly identify the motivation from the person who harasses others purposely or unintentionally.

Interviewed from a migrant worker, she also recalled:
Occasionally, there are other girls coming for ‘talk’. They are afraid but have no solutions to fight for their ‘human right’. Some are often sexually harassed but dare not say. They would rather tolerate it as they do not want to be sent back without earning money. Also, lack of evidence made them barely with the case for suing the employer. I happened to have a friend who was raped. After that incidence, she quickly washed her body to try to get rid of the sperm and the disgusting feeling. In that way, she lost the evidence to sue. What’s worse, there was once a single girl pregnant by the same situation. Then, she was sent home by the employer and asked not to disclose to anyone. And most of the times, migrant workers lose the battle.

Then did the wife of that employer know?

Yes, but she is afraid that her husband may be sent to the jail. So, she silenced.

How could this happen?

Just think, one day your beloved mother or sister is forced to experience this, what would you do to face?
